- Description: Resident green turtle, lots of small colorful fish, seahorse, barracuda, moray eel, cuttlefish, octopus, sea hare & cucumbers, triggerfish at spring, abundant UW vegetation on the rocks, sea grass on sandy areas
2. Abades Cave & Barracuda Point
- Depth: 10-18 m (40 with UW scooters)
-Levels: all levels from the 4th dive Open Water Course, very easy access
- Description: barracuda, sardine, stingray, eagle ray, angel shark, trumpet fish, garden eel, grouper, sponges and sea urchins covering rock formations, small caves, sea grass on sandy areas
3. Abades Roncadores
- Depth: 15 min. with UW scooters, 18 m
- Level: easy dive if no wave and no surfacing, strong currents below 20 m.
- Description: grunt (big schools), trumpet fish, glasseye, stingray, eagle ray, angel sharks, sponges and sea urchins covering rock formations below 5 m depth, small caves.
4. Abades Red Mountain
- Depth: 20 m
- Level: boots required, easy dive
- Distance from the dive center: 5 minutes from the dive center
- Description: sardine, garden eel, octopus, UW vegetation in the first 3 m, sponges and sea urchins covering the rock formation deeper, rays and angel sharks spotted outside bay, "walking" gurnard
5. Puertito de Guimar
- Depth: 0 - 18 m
- Level: Easy dive for all levels.
- Distance from the dive center: 30 minutes from the dive center by boat
- Description: Interesting rock formations, rays, sardins, garden eels.
6. Punta Prieta South

7. Poris (Mole)
- Depth: 4 - 20 m
- Level: easy dive, possible giant stride entry
- Distance from the dive center: 5 minutes from the dive center
- Description: sponge covering interesting steep rock formations and beautiful walls, guelly jack, shrimps, starfish, stingray in the sandy areas, dive site sheltered from prevailing winds
8. Poris Port and Beach
- Depth: 2-18m
- Levels: All levels, PADI School and trial dives as well, good alternative to Abades if the wind blows from the South
- Distance from the dive center: 10 minutes from the dive center
- Description: lots of small colorful fish, colorful sponges covering the rocks at shallow depth, stingrays on the sandy areas below 10 m
9. Abona Wreck
- Depth: 15-25 m
- Levels: Difficult entry, strong current, boots required, with DPV Scooters or boat only.
- Distance from the dive center: 10 minutes drive/boat from Abades
- Description: Close to the lighthouse many small wrecks in a bad state, barracudas and pelagic fish.
10. Poris Old Mans Cove
- Depth: 0-20 m
- Levels: Intermediate, boots required
- Distance from the dive center: 10 minutes drive from Abades
- Description: rocky bottom with drops from 8 to 12 m and from 14 to 18 m, small cave and overhangs, electric ray, stingray, grouper, glass eyes, angelshark, barracuda, possible strong current at depth
11. La Jaca
- Depth: 0 - 8m
- Levels: Boots required, DPV scooter dive
- Distance from the dive center: 10 minutes from the dive center
- Description: Interesting rock formations, angel sharks and rays, black sea bream nesting area.
12. Black Cove "The Pools"
- Depth: 0 - 20m
- Levels: Easy dive if no waves, torch light required
- Distance from the dive center: 15 minutes from the dive center
- Description: interesting rock formations & caves, abundant colorful small life in the caves, good for photography, some divers have broken many sponges during the winter 2009/10.
13. Los Abrigos Cliff
- Depth: 0 - 8 m
- Levels: Exit with a rope, boots required, Advanced divers
- Distance from the dive center: 15 minutes from the dive center
- Description: Excellent dive for macro-photography, abundant colorful small life on the rocks, many interesting overhang with a beautiful "swim-through" under the cliff
14. Montaña Amarilla
- Depth: 0 - 22m
- Levels: Medium experience
- Distance from the dive center: 20 minutes from the dive center
- Description: Entry/exit on lader, sandy bottom with interesting rock formations, vertical walls, horizontal layers and a "broken Arch" at the end of the dive, no current but possible surge, colourfull sponges (most of them broken in 2009), long dive.
15. El Palm Mar
- Depth: 0 - 40 m for PADI divers,
Levels: boots required, UW scooter recommended, entry at high tide only, deep dive, medium experience required
- Distance from the dive center: 25 minutes from the dive center
- Description: varying visibility due to surrounding fish farms and many diving centres diving on this site, entry to deep caves, many moray eels above the cave, stingray, early dive to be there before the other divers
16. Puertito de Armenime
- Depth: 0 - 12 m
- Levels: All levels, trial dives as well
- Distance from the dive center: 30 minutes from the dive center
- Description: varying visibility due to surrounding fish farms and low life but excellent Green Turtles feeding spot ... Turtles might take your fingers for a fish, so beware of the bites. Average bottom time 45 minutes only.
17. Marazul
- Depth: 4 - 30 m
- Levels: Easy dive with technical entry, giant stride, exit ladder
- Distance from the dive center: 35 minutes from the dive center
- Description: Possibility of three dives. Swimthrough at 27m, small swimthrough at 15m, cave at 6m with blowhole (warning: only to be entered when surge is not strong!). Small overhangs in 5-6m, good for photography, stingray, moray eel
18. Cueva de los Cerebros
- Depth: 10 - 15 m
- Levels: Cavern dive combined with scooter dive, very long dive in shallow depth
- Distance from the dive center: 40 minutes from the dive center
- Description: Excellent dive site for cavern specialty. 70 m of tunnels, strong current, brain corals, shrimps, few underwater life but interesting exploration and rock formation. Start from San Juan beach, 140 minutes dive time.
19. El Palm Mar
- Depth: 0 - 40 m for PADI divers,

- Description: Moray eels, rays, garden eels, wall in the middle of a sandy area
22. Boca Cangrejo
- Depth: 24-42 m
- Level: better with boots, deep dives, difficult entry if rough sea, currents but good protection behind walls
- Distance from the dive center: 30 min. drive from Abades,
5 min. from Santa Cruz
- Description: high concentration of moray eels, starfish and sea anemones, stingray, angel shark, and garden eels on sandy bottoms, sardine, pelagic fish spotted occasionally, small walls, sponges and sea urchins covering the rocks from 10 m depth, 2 possible dive sites on 2 different rock formations
23. Radazul
- Depth: 25 to 60 m depending on level
- Level: easy DEEP dive with easy access
- Distance from the dive center: 25 min. drive from Abades,
5 min. from Santa Cruz
- Description: pelagic UW life spotted occasionally, trumpet fish, groupers, tuna fish, amber jacks, stingray, barracuda, steep sandy slope that drops to over 100 m - Aware of possible strong nitrogen narcosis beyond the Cross at 38 m, various dives possible on this one, deep cavern.
24. Wreck "El Pejun" - Tabaiba
- Depth: 18-32 m for Advanced Divers
- Level: easy wreck dive with easy access
- Distance from the dive center: 25 minutes drive from Abades,
5 min. from Santa Cruz
- Description: pelagic UW life spotted occasionally, barracudas, sardins garden eels. Excellent for wreck specialty. With 40 minutes average bottom time our shortest dive. Ship was sunk in 2006
25. Punta Prieta North

- Level: boots required, DEEP dive, difficult entry if rough sea, currents

- Description: corals from 30m, moray eel, stingray, sardine, frogfish, seahorse, trigger fish, school of grunts, pelagic fish spotted occasionally, small caves, sponges and sea urchins covering rock formations
26. Los Roques
- Maximum depht: 0 - 30
- Level: Boots required, long walk ... on the way back.
- Distance from the dive center: 15 minutes from the dive center
- Description: Interesting rock formations above and below the surface, rays, sardins.
27. Las Eras
- Depth: 16-40 m
- Level: boots required, difficult entry/exit point when rough sea, way back against strong current sometimes, easy to difficult dive depending on the sea condition
- Distance from the dive center: 10 min. drive from Abades
- Description: trumpet fish, barracuda, tuna and pelagic fish occasionally, octopus, moray eel, garden eel at depth, stingray, nice wall with many small caves and tunnels, UW vegetation covering the rock formations between 0 and 18 m.
28. Marazul
- Maximum depht: 4-30 m
- Level: Easy dive with technical entry, giant stride, exit ladder

- Description: Splendid drop-off 35 to 70 m, black corals forest from 35 m, pelagic fish
